To Our Magnolia Bakery Community,
Keeping our staff, customers and community-at-large as safe and healthy as possible is our first priority. Our team has been working diligently over the last week to better understand the potential impact of COVID-19 on our customers, store teams and work environments. Every day brings new information and we are committed to keeping you informed about any new updates that may affect our stores. In the meantime, we wanted to take this opportunity to let you know what steps we’ve taken to ensure the health and safety of our staff and customers.
Due to local store and mall closures, we have had to close the following locations:
- Boston: Faneuil Hall
- Chicago: Block 37
- Washington, D.C.: Union Station
- Grand Central Terminal: Lower Dining Concourse
- Rockefeller Center
At our stores that remain open, we are offering pick-up ordering and local delivery with minimal contact. Customers can call our stores directly to place pick-up or delivery orders, visit magnoliabakery.com to place a same-day order with free deliveries within zone or order through Uber Eats. We are also continuing to ship nationwide.
In an effort to minimize the threat of COVID-19 at all of our operating locations as much as possible, we are disinfecting the stores’ POS systems, counters and work stations multiple times a day. We have hand sanitizer available at each store as well for our employees and customers. Additionally, our entire staff has been given detailed information about the importance of washing their hands, COVID-19 symptoms and what to do if they feel unwell.
We have communicated to everyone that employees who display any cold or flu-like symptoms will be sent home to minimize the impact on our store teams and local community.
The health and well-being of our employees and customers is of the utmost importance. As we get any new information that affects our Magnolia Bakery community in any way, we will be keep you updated.
All the best,
