Keeping our staff, customers and community-at-large as safe and healthy as possible is our first priority. Every day brings new information and we are committed to keeping you informed about any new updates that may affect our stores. In the meantime, we wanted to take this opportunity to let you know what steps we’ve taken to ensure the health and safety of our staff and customers, which of our stores are currently open and how you can place an order.
What stores are currently open?
Currently, our stores in the West Village and on the Upper West Side in New York City, Chicago, West Hollywood, Los Angeles, and in Rockefeller Center are currently open. Each store is accepting local pick-up and delivery orders. You can find each store’s phone number and current operating hours here.
What are you doing to ensure the health and safety of your employees and products?
The health and safety of our staff, our customers and the community-at-large is our top priority. To that end, our employees wear masks and gloves, disinfect their work stations throughout the day and work at least six feet apart from one another whenever possible. Additionally, we have installed plexiglass dividers at the checkout at our stores in NYC to further limit engagement between our employees and guests. We have also limited the number of customers in the stores at the same time to ensure that everyone can maintain proper social distancing.
To ensure that your orders are handled as safely as possible, we are offering no-contact delivery through our platforms and limiting contact as much as possible when you come to the store to pick up an order.
Are you open for local pick-up or delivery?
Yes, our stores in the West Village, Upper West Side, Chicago, Los Angeles, and in Rockefeller Center are offering local pick-up and delivery. You can place an order directly through Magnolia Bakery here. You can also place an advance order here.
Are you delivering to Brooklyn?
Yes, we are delivering to select areas of Brooklyn. Please call our store in the West Village to get more information about the delivery fee and availability at 2124622572.
Are you still shipping nationwide?
Yes, we are. Due to the current circumstances, we have limited quantities of each product available, but continue to offer the same selection of freshly-baked desserts you know and love, including cupcakes, banana pudding, cakes, cookies and brownies and bars, as well as gift cards. Is there any delay in getting items shipped?
FedEx has been experiencing some delays in shipping products. While we are not experiencing a delay on our end in getting products out, your package may be affected depending on FedEx’s ability to deliver within your region.
Are you still offering catering and items such as tiered cakes?
At this time, our catering options are very limited and are not currently offering icing classes or tiered cakes. To place any large order, please call the store directly to discuss your specific requirements with our store team. You can find the store phone numbers and store hours here.
How are you supporting local hospitals and front line workers?
In store, we are offering complimentary small banana pudding or a cupcake of your choice to healthcare workers, firefighters, police officers and EMTs. Just present your ID to get the complimentary item during your next visit at our West Village, Upper West Side, Chicago, Los Angeles or in Rockefeller Center locations.
Additionally, we have partnered with Feed the Frontlines NYC, an organization that is providing meals and desserts to hospitals throughout New York City. Hospitals and healthcare workers interested in having Magnolia Bakery desserts be part of a delivery are encouraged to reach out to Feed the Frontlines directly at 6462448000.
