We had so much fun at this year’s Jingle Ball! Hosted by KIIS-FM in L.A. at the Nokia Theater on December 1 and 3, the event featured over 15 musical performances, including Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, Psy, Fun., The Wanted and Ke$ha. Our L.A. team was on-site to set-up a beautiful dessert table backstage. Take a look at some of our favorite photos from the event:

We were so lucky to have a member of The Joffrey Ballet’s Nutcracker at our Chicago store yesterday. The poised dancer sampled our exclusive Nutcracker cupcake, a red velvet cupcake topped with a beautifully etched chocolate disc, and posed by our Christmas tree. Enjoy some of the pictures from yesterday’s photo shoot below. Happy holidays!
We are very excited to be opening in Kuwait soon! In preparation for the opening, our Kuwait team is learning how to create Magnolia Bakery’s signature swirl – it can take up to 40 hours to perfect. Magnolia Bakery’s President and “Chief Baking Officer,” Bobbie Lloyd, and team members Abigail Joslyn, Sumaya Jackson and Lilly Catalan have been training our Kuwaiti team. We think they’re doing pretty well so far:) Good luck, team!
We recently partnered with Violent Lips, the company behind temporary lip art and the “future of lipstick,” to create a one-of-a-kind cupcake. The cupcakes were part of an exclusive media package distributed throughout NYC that featured the company’s all-new Violent Eyes collection.
Our creative team worked closely with Violent Lips to design a beautifully branded cupcake. The collaboration resulted in custom vanilla and chocolate cupcakes topped with shimmering gold and red lips, a nod to the brand’s logo and glittery art designs.
Here’s a look at how the Violent Lips cupcakes were created. To learn more about Violent Lips and their latest offerings, click here.
We’re very excited to announce that our store in Beirut, Lebanon is now open! Our newest store is located in ABC Dbayeh and we had a fun, festive event yesterday to celebrate the grand opening. Magnolia Bakery’s President and “Chief Baking Officer,” Bobbie Lloyd, and team members from New York, Andi Giovinazzo and Pam Heintzelman, have worked tirelessly with our Beirut team to open our second store abroad. During the event, guests from around the country stopped by to get their first taste of our cupcakes, cakes, brownies, cookies, bars and cheesecakes; listen to a wonderful jazz band; and take in the vintage American decor. It was truly a taste of the sweet side of New York!
